Vitalii Cires



Born in Chisinau on April 11th, in 1957.

He graduated from the Art College after Repin in 1976 and the Academy of Music in 1984, in Chisinau. Since 1993, he has joined the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet “Maria Bieșu”.

In 2004, he sang in the role of Zaccaria in opera Nabucco at the Royal Albert Hall in the UK, the production of National Opera, Chisinau.

He also sings vocal-symphonic compositions by I.S.Bach, G.Handel, A. Dvorak, W.A.Mozart, G.Verdi, L.Beethoven, G.Puccini, S.Rahmaninov, and his own composition – Liturgy, where he debuted as a composer and performer in the Organ Hall in 2005.
