Born on December 12th 1940.

Graduated from the Chisinau Institute of Arts "G.Musicescu" (Academic Singing Faculty) in 1972 under Professor P.Botezat. In the same year he was engaged by the Chisinau National Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Speaks Romanian, Russian, Italian.

Sings in Italian, French, Russian, Romanian.
