On Sunday, May 15, 2016, at 16:00, the National Opera and Ballet Theatre “Maria Bieșu” organizes a concert in memory of Prima Donna of National Opera Theater, Maria Bieșu, to mark two years after the passing away of the famous national and international opera diva.
The Commemoration of the Prima Donna will be realized through the famous "Messa da Requiem" by Giuseppe Verdi. The vocal-symphonic creation is one of the most beautiful and complex works by Verdi, made by the composer for four soloists, double choir and orchestra, a synergy outlining uplifting atmosphere enriched with every note of music, internalized by soloists and transmitted to audience.
The four soloists who will introduce the audience to a spiritual promenade are soprano Angela Pihut, mezzo-soprano TATIANA BUSUIOC Master of Arts, tenor - ŢURCAN IGOR Master of Arts and bass Valeriu Cojocaru, together with the Chorus and Orchestra of the National Opera Theatre and Academic Choir Chapel "Doina ", Artistic Director and Chief Conductor - Ilona Stepan, Honored Artist.
This magnificent italian composition will be conducted by Friedrich Pfeiffer.
