Ballet „Giselle" by A. Adam on the stage of the Concert Hall
On 3 March 2012, Saturday, ballet troupe of the National Opera and Ballet Theatre exceeded the boarder of Chisinau in the frame of International Music Festival Mărţişor, 46th edition, presenting a masterpiece of classic ballet called „Giselle" “by A. Adam, to all the admirers of the choreographic art over Nistru river.
After a pause, thanks to the affords of the National Theatre administration and to the culture representatives in Tiraspol, the prestigious International Music Festival Mărţişor-2012 became one of the most important cultural symbols of the Republic of Moldova which now was lunched over Nistru river being more accessible to the ballet admirers.
For the first time, ballet Giselle together with decoration, costumes, and wonderful dance embodied the magic and charm of sad tale was played on the stage of Concert Hall.
The spectacle presented with great success, love and jealousy the ballet „Giselle “being a highlight of Romantics that portrays the real life of human being with his dreams and thought. Together with «Swan Lake», «Giselle» is one of the most appreciated ballet performance.
It was performed by our soloist – Cristina Terentiev Maestru în Artă (Giselle), together with Alexei Terentiev Artist Emerit playing the role of Prince Albert together with National Opera ballet soloists well known and loved by the public. In the role of Myrtha debuted the ballet artist Liubov Batâr, who joined in this role perfectly having the noble task of ensuring the high performance of this spectacle. Full hall (over 700 seats) proved to be too small for art lovers from Tiraspol. The public – who enrolled officials, cultural and renowned people felt every movement, every feeling experienced by soloists on stage. Excited and inspired, soloists and ballet artists have managed to create an enchanting atmosphere, one such as has not been registered in this hall.
For proper implementation of the project were involved over 70 employees of the theater: ballet artists, workers on the scene, costume designers, employees of the decoration department, Visage and lights – which made the ballet presentation a successful one.
We believe that the team has demonstrated over time that has real talent and promote its image in all lyrical space, contributed to boosting cultural relations and integration of spiritual values, demonstrating one more time that Art and Culture has no boundaries.
